Language & Literature Program
Our program is home to faculty and students who share a commitment to the study and practice of creative writing, literary criticism and theory, rhetoric and composition, translation, and world languages.
Literature
The study of literature includes English literature and the literatures of Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Our BA in Literature is also available in a variety of concentrations.
Our graduate programs in literature offer a dynamic environment for delving into research across a diverse spectrum of literary traditions. Creative writing and literary translation are integral parts of the MA and PhD in Literature.
World Languages
Language study is open to all undergraduate majors at UT Dallas. We offer instruction by outstanding faculty at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels.
